Unlock the Guide
When you enter an email to unlock the Guide, it is used only to unlock immediate access to the Guide. It is not stored unless you separately choose the optional updates consent.
If you opt in to updates, your email is stored so 11:11 STATE can send future updates. The Guide request and the Join the List form are different choices: requesting the Guide alone does not sign you up for future updates.
Join the List
When you use Join the List, the email address you provide is stored for future 11:11 STATE updates.
Share Your Story
Stories submitted to 11:11 STATE are moderated before they may be shared. Choosing optional email updates is opt-in. A source identifier is hashed to help prevent abuse; it is not presented as part of your story.
